Hope you all are doing well. My name is Mudrika Khandelwal and I recently assumed the office as Dean of Alumni Relations. Having reaped numerous benefits of being an IIT Bombay Alumna, I have a fair idea of how important the connection with one’s Alma mater is and through this role, I wish to facilitate the same for all of you.
One of the first things that comes to my mind when I think of my Alma mater is the wonderful times spent on the campus and the immediate desire to go back and re-live the moments. I am sure most of you feel the same way about our campus as well and to encourage you to come back to the campus periodically and access various campus facilities, we started distributing E-cards.
Furthermore, I plan to visit alumni from various cities in our country first and meet all of you in person through Alma Connect events. Also, I would like to remind you that it has been a decade since our first batch of students graduated and I am really looking forward to celebrating it.
Alumni are the pillars of any institution. The success of an institution is determined by the success of its alumni and in this regard, despite being a very young institution, we are blessed to have very responsible and supportive Alumni who are building a very good reputation and also donating to our institution and its developments.
We connect alumni to the university and each other, build traditions, foster student and alumni leadership, serve the diverse needs and interests of our community, and create opportunities for investment in IIT Hyderabad for its advancements.
