The Office of Alumni Relations is rolling out digital alumni cards for all the alumni, replacing the original hard copies. These Ecards contain basic details of the alumni along with individual QR code. This QR code will be scanned at the security main gate where the information about the alumni can be verified with the database.
This card does not entitle one to accommodation and utilization of regular students.
Instructions:
- This card is non-transferable and allows access to only public areas of IIT Hyderabad.
- Individuals may be asked to make entry in the registers kept at the entry gate.
- Vehicles entering into the campus will be thoroughly checked.
- Government issued ID proof (e.g. Adhaar card, driving license) as well as alumni e-card are mandatory to enter the campus.
- A maximum of 4 visitors are allowed with one alumni card. Their details should be furnished at the time of entry.
- Visits to places like labs, research park, incubator, hostels, faculty/staff towers can be done only with approval of the concerned authority.
- This card does not entitle one to accommodation and utilization of regular student facilities.
- Visitors are allowed to be in the campus until 10 PM. Any stay beyond 10 PM would require proof of a guest house room booking confirmation or special permissions from the authorities.
- IIT Hyderabad reserves the right to change the access policy.

Alumni Ecard will be sent to alumni official IITH registered email id. If you have not registered with IITH for your official IITH email Id, please fill the required details in the google form mentioned below:
