City based Alumni - OAR meet
The Office of Alumni Relations is keen on reaching out to their alumni. We are in the process of rolling out MEET and GREET events in various cities and would love to meet our alumni who are available in those cities.
It will be an informal meet of around half a day to get to know each other, updates from IITH and office of alumni relations, chit chat, past memories etc. on brunch/ high tea depending on the majority of alumni gathering for the event.
This year (2022) we are planning to reach out to the following places for the get-together
- Hyderabad
- Bangalore
- Delhi NCR
- Mumbai
- Pune
- Chennai

We completed our first Greet & Meet in Hyderabad on 7th August 2022 and we plan to conduct several more in major cities across the country.

We completed our second Greet & Meet in Mumbai on 18th September 2022 and we plan to conduct several more in major cities across the country.
Annual Alumni - Fresher meet
The Office of Alumni Relations in collaboration with IITH Alumni Association is planning to organize an annual alumni - fresher meet. It is a platform to connect the incoming freshers, the current students, and the alumni of the Institute. It is an informal meeting with the upcoming/freshers batch with alumni every year to make them comfortable and share their institute experiences (personal and professional) with them.
This event also serves as a platform for the alumni to showcase their achievements, startups, ventures etc. The event will be rounded up with a Q&A session where queries from freshers were answered by the alumni and current students.
